MA-NACPM Meetings

MA-NACPM holds at least three membership meetings each year, including an Annual Meeting. Meetings may be held virtually, making it easier for members across Massachusetts to participate.
Membership meetings are a time to:

Hear updates about Chapter work
Discuss issues affecting community midwives
Share resources and upcoming opportunities
Bring questions and concerns to Chapter leadership
Vote on Chapter business when needed

The Annual Meeting also includes Director elections for any seats that are due.
All members are welcome to participate. Voting members may vote during a live meeting, electronically, or by written proxy when those options are offered. Meeting notices will be shared at least seven days in advance.

Chapter President Nicole Pegher is available to meet one-on-one with community midwives, students, members, and others connected to community birth. Whether you need information, support, help finding a resource, or simply want to share what is happening in your part of the community, please reach out.

Virtual Community Information Session Recording

Massachusetts is preparing to open provisional licensure for Certified Professional Midwives. We know community midwives have a lot of questions about what happens next.

MA NACPM hosted a virtual information session to talk through what we know, what we are still waiting to learn, and what midwives can expect as licensure opens.
